Position: Head of Sales

Supervisor’s Title: Chief Executive Officer

Our Head of Sales will own the Sales function at LineLeader. This includes the overall Sales strategy, resource planning, budgeting, hiring & daily management of the Sales team, and forecasting & reporting on Sales performance. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of scaling private equity backed, B2B SaaS companies through successful implementation of strategy and best practices.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you are an enthusiastic leader who enjoys building great teams and great companies. You can successfully navigate the day-to-day challenges while keeping your team motivated and focused on the longer term vision and goals of the business. You are maniacally focused on key fundamentals of a high-velocity SaaS Sales organization… pipeline, coverage, activities and conversion rates.

LineLeader is dedicated to supporting and developing our Quacks! We provide training, management support, inter-departmental resources, and stipends for external personal development. While you’ll get the full support of our team, you’ll also benefit from the autonomy to own your function and result.

We prefer our Head of Sales to be in Dallas, TX with a hybrid work model. However, we are open to remote work for the right person.

As our Head of Sales, you will:

  • Set the overall Sales strategy and manage its execution by the Sales team.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies with the executive leadership team, especially GTM leadership peers.
  • Help create accountability across the GTM teams, especially Sales, by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics.
  • Build, develop, mentor, and manage a team that can tell the LineLeader story and sell effectively into all market segments and geographies we operate.
  • Help to close sales bookings of your own as well as those the team is working on.
  • Establish, refine, and continually manage all reporting and forecasting for Sales function.
  • Implement robust Sales processes and value creation initiatives to scale the Sales team and overall business.
  • Become an expert on our industry, buyers, and product.
  • Work closely with the CEO and CFO on evaluating and implementing the company's annual business plan across the organization, bringing a keen understanding of our current client base and prospects in the market.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, Post Sales, and Product to update teams with your feedback and perspective on opportunities for growth
  • Embody our core values as seen here

You’ll excel in this role if you embody the majority of these traits:

  • You want to win
  • Take ownership and use available resources to hit and exceed targets
  • Use IQ & EQ to make complex topics simple and connect with people
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • You’re curious and seek to understand by asking questions that go well below the surface
  • You know the road won’t be easy, but well worth it
  • Able to receive and implement feedback; as well as give it
  • Enjoy challenges and change, adapting to both quickly without missing a step

You should have the following experience:

  • 5+ years of management and sales experience in B2B SaaS companies
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing, repeatable and scalable operations.
  • Proven ability to build and develop teams that successfully sold software into multiple market segments and geographies.
  • The ability to toggle between long term strategy and in-the-weeds tactical problem-solving.
  • Strong desire and ability to grow with LineLeader
